The first thing you need to do before applying it is to analyze the shape of your eyes. If you have regular or deep set of eyes, you need to use small angular brush or fluff brush with a red liner pencil to draw the crease color and it should cover about 1/3 of the outer edge of the eye. Then add on the red eyeshadow color at the corner of the outer eyes and blend it inwards. If you want a more dramatic look, darken the red but if you just want to look elegant, soften the red eyeshadow with a champagne color.
If you have oriental eyes, there is no crease for it and you usually need to create one. You need to draw a line with a small angle brush from the outer edge into the inside of the eyes. Try not to draw it and let it disappear into the back of your eyes or it will make your eyes even smaller. If you have eye lid never try to soften it with champagne eyeshadow instead use a darker red onto your eyelid. You do not want your eyes to look swollen.
Try using glitter red eyeshadow to enhance your eyes. As the saying goes, eyes are the life of the face and the window to the soul so pamper them!
